Hi RL,

I was not in the Boston lair but I hear they run a pretty good group there. There were some rumours a few years back about the leaders kicking guys out if they are not improving and there were different feelings about that.

A general awareness of the sexual ratio and the hotness of women in a location helps but don't dwell on it. Similarly being well traveled definitely gives you a more rounded perspective on life.

Thanks for the response. I've been in the game, so-to-speak, for over 3 years now and finally feel I've changed to the point where I can comfortably attract women here (currently spend my time in Providence and Boston). However, I went to a tech school in Worcester for 2 years (you can probably guess which one) several years ago, and all I remember is that my standards dropped drastically during that time (and I didn't even realize it at the time). Not that it made a difference back then, because I was the worst AFC ever, but I don't want to repeat this experience.

Funny enough, I just talked to this European dude who moved from Silicon Valley to Boston a few years ago and he mirrored pretty much what you said. He told me that the Silicon Valley area sucked quality and quantity-wise, but that SF was ok. He also said that Santa Cruz had the "hot women," but that he found Bay Area women in general more shallow than the women in Boston. Ironically I would have guessed the opposite.

Were you ever a member of the Boston Lair or involved in the scene back when you were on the East Coast?

Hey RL,

Thanks for the comment.

I am originally from Boston and yes, there were cuter girls there overall. There are cute girls here too. However the weather makes it difficult as it is always cold and I didn't think a lot of Boston girls had good fashion sense. That being said the ratio at Harvard square is WAY better than out here. SF city itself it not bad.

Once you develop good game and ratio should not be as big of a factor, but there is a difference as your sexual selection ratio changes so should your game.

Don't let the ratio stop you from moving to California though if that is what you want. This may help:

As someone who's lived on the East Coast my whole life, I've always been curious to know what the quality/quantity of women are in Nor. Cal. The impression I currently have is that the ratio kinda sucks, and that there are not that many attractive women (unless you have a certain thing for Asian women). Your post didn't do much to assure me otherwise, unfortunately; have you ever visited the East Coast (NY-Boston-DC) and what did you think of the scene there?

Thanks and keep up the good work!
