The importance of “Play”

When working towards a monetary goal or entrepreneurial project, it is always important to remember to play. For when we forget, we forget the very reason why we are working so hard.
I found it interesting in the professor’s studies that criminals and murderers have a history of less play at childhood, while creative genuises played more. Animals also play, as part of their development cycle when growing up, as well as developing skills that will help them later on, such as cubs play fighting in simulating a real hunt for food. In writing the naturalization of game on PUA Lingo, I came acorss a really funny clip of Jeffy and Tim promoting Flawless Natural. There’s some great material in this product and there is no doubt that in the next few years, more models will be developed for creating more internal based game learning.

I was reading an article in an old game developer magazine last week, and I saw an interview with the creators of Advent Rising (storyline by Orson Scott Card of Ender’s Game). In the interview he described how the developers had to add weight to the “relatively regular body frame” character, in order to give him a more “superhero” appearance.
This got me to start thinking, that a charismatic person tends to have “mass”, or that physical presence about him. Even game designers notice this in video games. In real life, there is also an element of the energy that is projected from the flesh. In video games, this energy can be more dramatic, and illustrated through aura colors, halos, and other superpowers.
For a man, it is important to develop that physical “weight” and presence as it gives the person a “superhero” feel to his physical projection in this world.

A few days ago, TK was visiting us from LA, and in the Mastermind Alliance group we began looking at each other and commenting on each of our physical, voice, and overall impressions on the group. This was done in a very constructive way and it was one of the best sessions I have had, personally. Afterward I really started to look at all of the comments that were said about me, and also how much of it I was aware of. Of importance were: Read more
